Flower Pressing Workshop

Pressing flowers is a popular art form which can preserve your blooms year-round. In this workshop, material selection techniques, as well as when and how to press, will be demonstrated. Pressed flowers can be used to create a variety of projects; a follow-up workshop in the fall will demonstrate how to use the material to its best advantage. Participants should bring an old small book (not with glazed paper) and some tweezers. Format: Oral presentation with demonstrations. Fee: $30 FOG/$35 public. Pre-registration required.
