Welcome back, alumni!

By Sharon King | Aug. 21, 2013

Where do you live now? How many children do you have? What kind of work are you doing? How’s retirement? Are you on Facebook?

Alumni and friends will celebrate once again during Reunion 2013 happening this fall. That’s just a few of the questions that will be asked this fall as Memorial welcomes alumni back to campus for havin’ a time Reunion 2013. Reunions, with their air of celebration, are a great way to catch up with former classmates and friends, and to have fun.

From Oct. 17-21, Memorial University alumni and friends, as well as current and retired faculty and staff, are invited to experience five days of entertaining events with past friends and colleagues.

There will be celebrations for alumni marking key milestone years and decades, the Alumni Tribute Awards, concerts, Sea-Hawks games and a tailgate party, plus lots of festivities on campus. There will also be a special ceremony for those celebrating 50-plus years as Memorial alumni.

If you’re not celebrating one of these key milestones, don't worry, there are events for everyone!

Whether it’s Parade Street or nursing, engineering or earth sciences – no matter the connection, Memorial has made an unforgettable impact on so many and wishes to continue to do so into the future.

That’s why reunions provide the perfect backdrop to relive the good times and reminisce about special connections not only with your classmates but also with Memorial. They're also the perfect time to reunite with friends, celebrate achievements and expand your professional networks.

So make a note in your calendar, and come back to campus. Let’s all have a time together this fall. For more information and to register, visit www.reunion.mun.ca.
