Short-listed candidates announced for dean, School of Nursing

The search committee for the dean of the School of Nursing has short-listed two candidates for the role. The interviews have been scheduled on the following dates:

  • Oct. 1-2: Dr. Alice Gaudine, dean pro tempore, School of Nursing, Memorial University
  • Oct. 6-7: Dr. Dr. Tam Truong Donnelly, professor, University of Calgary and adjunct professor, department of community health sciences, Faculty of Medicine, University of Calgary

Each interview spans two consecutive working days and will take place on the St. John’s campus. Each candidate will be making a public (open) presentation on Memorial’s St. John’s campus.

Dr. Gaudine is scheduled to present on Wednesday, Oct. 1 at 1:00 p.m. in the main auditorium of the Health Sciences Centre, and Dr. Tam Truong Donnelly is scheduled to present on Monday, Oct. 6 at 1:00 p.m. in Lecture Theatre A, first floor, Health Sciences Centre. Both candidates will speak on the role of dean and their vision for Memorial’s School of Nursing.

Due to scheduling challenges, the committee is not in a position to confirm a third candidate at this time.
