Faculty of Arts holds fifth Book Swap

By Janet Harron | Oct. 9, 2015

To mark Kindness Friday, the Faculty of Arts is hosting its fifth semi-annual book swap.

From 10 a.m.-2 p.m. in the Arts atrium on Friday, Oct. 16, students, staff, faculty and the general public will get the opportunity to share and swap a huge variety of titles.

Last year's offerings included everything from current textbooks to cookbooks, rare titles in French donated by Professor Peter Ayres, and well-loved children’s books.

Donation boxes are currently available in each arts department. Or bring your books to the atrium on the day of the event. No books to swap? No problem – if last year’s response is anything to go by, we’ll have a lot to spare! Books will be organized by genre so it will be easy to find what you’re looking for.

Bring a book (or books) to swap or a small donation to our arts scholarship fund would be appreciated. Students can swap for free!
