By Jeff Green | March 4, 2009

A series of information booths and a panel discussion taking place today, March 4, aim to educate students, staff and faculty about disability issues.

The Glenn Roy Blundon Centre for Students with Disabilities and the Wellness Program offered through Student Affairs and Services are holding a free information awareness day in the University Centre.

The event runs until 3 p.m. It is taking place in The Landing on the third floor of the centre.

An information fair, consisting of booths from various organizations and help centres, has been set up with representatives on-hand to talk to the university community about disability issues.

Those attending can enter for a chance to win a $50 Gift Card from the University Bookstore. And, free pizza is also being offered.

Meanwhile, a panel discussion will be held at the MUNSU Council Chambers beginning at 12 p.m.
