The mystery photo in the 2011 winter Communicator’s Days Gone By feature may have been be too much of a mystery.

Here’s hoping that someone out there will take another look at the photo at left and recognize the event it captured. For bonus points (and an extra bit of swag), editor Marcia Porter is looking for the name of the publication in which it appeared.

Here's a clue: in previous years it had been called The Cap and Gown.
