It was the best of times.

Close to 300 alumni and friends celebrated their Memorial and East Coast roots at recent pub nights in Toronto, Ottawa and Calgary.

Alumni and friends at the Toronto Social on March 26.There were fries, dressing and gravy, live music and lots of laughter as guests of all ages came together to reconnect.

On Wednesday, March 25, Fergus O’Byrne and Chris Murphy entertained more than 100 guests in downtown Ottawa.

The following night, more than 70 alumni and friends met in Toronto to enjoy Newfoundland and Labrador-themed appetizers at a local pub. Meanwhile, in Calgary, Arthur O’Brien of The Navigators had more than 100 guests dancing and singing along to Newfoundland and Labrador favourites.

The Office of Alumni Affairs and Development hosts socials and events around North America to bring together alumni and friends.
