The Rooms Engaging Evenings Speaker Series
Dr. Scott Neilsen of the archaeology department will present an evening lecture about the Archaeology in Sheshatshiu. A new exhibit opening at the Labrador Interpretation Centre in the Spring of 2014 includes results from an archaeological dig in Sheshatshiu, Labrador. Scott Neilsen, from the Department of Archaeology-Labrador Institute/Memorial University, will introduce us to the archaeology of Sheshatshiu and discuss the on-going investigation of a significant Intermediate period site, FjCa-51. Admission is free. This talk will also be streamed on the Newfoundland and Labrador Archaeology Society youtube channel.
