Education Teacher Development Seminar Presentations
Education 5000 is a Teacher Development Seminar for students enrolled in the Bachelor of Education (Intermediate/Secondary) program. The culminating activity for the seminar is a series of presentations which take the form of a mini-conference to be held on Wednesday, July 23, and Thursday, July 24. The topics will include: Classroom Management, Experiential Education, Social Justice, Social Media in the Classroom, Social Engagement and Motivation and many more!
The conference will begin with a short keynote presentation by T.A. Loeffler, a well-known athlete, adventurer, and professor of outdoor recreation, at 12:45 p.m. on July 23 in the Bruneau Centre for Research and Innovation (IIC-2001).
Please view the schedule for details on presentation topics, times, and locations. http://www.mun.ca/educ/other/EducationTeacherDevelopmentSeminarPresentations.php.
The conference will conclude with a faculty-student social at The Breezeway directly after the presentations on Thursday.
We hope that you will be able to attend some of these sessions to support our Intermediate-Secondary students.
