Eight vivid short videos (10 to 15 minutes) extensively illustrated with rarely seen archival documents. The screening is divided into two sections:
First Hour: First World War
The Newfoundland Regiment at Beaumont Hamel; The Women Who Went Overseas; The Newfoundland Royal Naval Reserve; Other Allied Forces
Second Hour: N.L. History
A Settler's Life; The 19th Century Salt Cod FIsheries; The 1892 Great Fire; The 1929 Burin Tsunami
