The Creation of a Global Geopark in Western Newfoundland?

The Harris Centre invites you to attend a meeting to discuss the creation of a Global Geopark in Western Newfoundland. A Geopark is an area with significant natural and cultural heritage elements, focused on scientifically important or striking and unusual geologic phenomena.

This meeting will feature a short presentation by Paul Wylezol, President of the International Appalachian Trail Newfoundland and Labrador, and a discussion session.
