Third Annual SARIS Lecture: Do Animals Have Rights? And What Does That Mean, Exactly?

SARIS is hosting its third annual lecture and discussion: Do animals have rights? And what does that mean, exactly? The goal of the annual SARIS lecture is to stimulate awareness and provoke dialogue and debate on social, philosophical, and ethical issues in our society.
The event will consist of an opening lecture by keynote speaker, Joyce Tischler, Lead Counsel and Co-Founder of the animal Legal Defense Fund, followed by community panelists and questions and discussion.
