Since 1996 Dr. Hodgkinson, Faculty of Medicine, has been part of a core team of scientists and clinicians that have been working on genetic causes of young sudden cardiac death in the province. Dr. Hodgkinson will talk about the work of this team, with special reference to the women involved over the years, paying particular attention to the families who have been the most important members of the research team.
