A Student Town Hall on how students can safeguard their personal data online is being held to mark Data Privacy Day on Jan. 28.

Shawn Pendergast, Memorial’s manager of student computing, leads a panel discussion and Q&A. Panelists: Joe Dawson, Atlantic operations manager for Electronic Warfare Associates; Kenneth Forward, IT security officer for Memorial’s Information Technology Services; and Alison Randell, Memorial’s director of Information Management and Protection.

Admission is free and open to all students.
