The MUN Relay for Life is a 12 hour event in which teams, made up of about 10 members, walk around the track overnight after fundraising in the battle against cancer. The night is full of music, entertainment, games, prizes, karaoke, you name it! But most of all, it is about making a difference in the fight against cancer, and giving those of us who have been affected by cancer a time to reflect and do our part to find a cure. The MUN Relay for Life provides an opportunity for the MUN community to get together and celebrate loved ones who have battled cancer and won, remember loved ones who are currently battling cancer or who have lost their battle to cancer, and to work together to try and fight this terrible disease. This is the 3rd Annual MUN Relay for Life and we want to make this one the best Relay yet! Last year, we saw 43 teams made of MUN students, faculty and staff walk around the track at the Field House for 12 hours after raising approximately $35,000!!! This is an accomplishment the MUN community should be very proud of, and a tradition of fighting back that we want to see continue. There are many ways to help!
