Pink Pen campaign

Second-year nursing student Jessica Hunt was one of the first to sign the Write For Hope banner hanging at the entrance to the School of Nursing. It’s part of a national Pink Pen campaign sponsored by Paper Mate to raise awareness of breast cancer and raise funds to support breast cancer research, education and awareness programs. Nursing student Ashley Richardson (back) is heading up the campaign at Memorial as the representative of the Canadian Nursing Students Association (CNSA). Paper Mate is partnering with the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation and CNSA by providing banners, pink pens and special bookmarks to nursing students, and will donate $1 to the foundation for every signature. The Paper Mate FlexGrip Elite pens are available anywhere that pens are sold, and proceeds from sale of the pink pens will be contributed to the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation.
