Ocean Sciences Centre summer outreach program
Four-year-old Madeleine Gillingham, a regular patient at the Janeway, shows no fear when it comes to picking up slimy sea snails with Victoria LeShane, a marine interpreter with Memorial's Ocean Sciences Centre (OSC). Due to ongoing construction at the research facility in Logy Bay, the OSC's Marine Public Education Program is travelling with its touch tank around the capital city all summer long. Other locations include the Fluvarium at Pippy Park and the MUN Botanical Garden. Contact Danielle Nichols at 709-864-2459 for more information.
