Promise kept
Grenfell Campus Student Union general manager Kirk Wiseman has been working all semester to raise funds for the Janeway Children’s Hospital. Through the Janeway Jam concert and silent auction, barbecues and soliciting donations, Kirk was able to present a $5,786 donation at the Janeway telethon. Kirk was motivated to raise money for the Janeway after his son Nathan was treated there for a rare form of childhood cancer known as neuroblastoma. Here, Kirk and his son Nathan, wife Nikki and daughter Sophia present the cheque to telethon personality Dave Elms.
