AUCC president visits

Claire Morris, the president of the Association of Universities and Colleges of Canada, visited St. John's last week. While in the city, Ms. Morris spoke to the Waterford Valley Rotary Club and met with various university and government officials. Here, she receives a gift and a copy of the President's Report from Dr. Axel Meisen. Ms. Morris was named president and CEO of the Association of Universities and Colleges of Canada for a five-year term, which began on April 5. She is the first woman appointed to serve as president of AUCC.
